Wisconsin’s average gas price is the lowest in the country, but within the State, the area surrounding Manitowoc County boasts the lowest average price per gallon.
According to the AAA Fuel Gauge, in Manitowoc County, the average price dropped 15 cents from last week to $1.07, with some places falling below $1.
Sheboygan County saw the largest drop in price, 19 cents to $1.25, while Calumet County drivers are paying 5 cents less than last week at $1.08.
Brown and Kewaunee County’s prices each dropped 4 cents to $1.07 and $1.08 respectively, and Door County saw a drop of 7 cents to $1,14.
The average price in the state is $1.20, an 11 cent per gallon decline, while the national average is down 9 cents to $1.77.
