The 25-year-old man who was seriously injured in a fight at a Milwaukee police officer’s home April 19th has died.
An autopsy will be done today (Tuesday) on Joel Acevedo’s body. He died Saturday at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Milwaukee County prosecutors are expected to make a decision about filing charges against the officer after the autopsy results are complete.
Michael Mattioli was off-duty at the time of the fight.
He was arrested on tentative charges of first-degree reckless injury and strangulation.
