Amtrak has announced it is switching from train service to buses for customers traveling between Milwaukee and Chicago.
The coronavirus pandemic has made it so there aren’t enough people making the trip to keep using trains. A spokesperson says it doesn’t make sense to run mostly-empty trains on the route between the two cities. The new bus-only service will continue through at least May 25.
