Vice President Mike Pence says the country is “getting there” in its battle against the coronavirus pandemic due to local efforts.
Pence toured a G-E Health Care manufacturing facility in Madison Tuesday.
He spoke to workers, then took part in a round table discussion of the progress he says the U-S has made in its effort to overcome the pandemic.
Former Vice President Joe Biden called the Pence visit a “photo opportunity.”
Three Democratic members of the Wisconsin congressional delegation sent a letter to the Trump White House before the visit saying Wisconsin doesn’t have the supplies it needs to deal with the virus.
