Brown County will soon be receiving a very important package from the State of Wisconsin.
Governor Tony Evers announced yesterday that the county will be receiving 2,200 testing supplies and PPE.
The reason for this is the fact that 200 cases of the virus have been confirmed in Brown County, including a couple outbreaks at the JBS meatpacking facility, and the Salm Partners’ Denmark facility.
Employees from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are also coming to assist health workers in Brown County.
The State of Wisconsin now has 36 labs conducting testing, which the governor says is a key part of re-opening the economy.
