Two more cases of COVID-19 were confirmed over the weekend in Manitowoc County, bringing the total up to 7.
The Manitowoc County Health Department has not released demographic information on any of the confirmed cases.
Manitowoc County Emergency Services Director Travis Waack told SeehaferNews.com that the increase is likely due to “people going out or individual instances where some of those social distancing rules are not followed as closely”.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, several more cases were confirmed, bringing their total number of cases up to 44.
15 of those cases remain active, 4 of which are hospitalized, and 27 people have fully recovered from the virus.
