Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is joining six other Midwestern governors in announcing they will coordinate the re-opening of their state economies.
Similar agreements were reached by governors in the Northeast and the West Coast.
Joining Evers, the governor of Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio say they will work with experts to take a “fact-based, data-driven approach” that also protects families from the spread of COVID-19.
Almost half of the U-S population lives in the 17 states covered by the three agreements.
