The passing of a pet is always difficult, but when that animal was a part of both your work and home life it can become even more difficult.
Members of the Sheboygan Police Department are feeling that pain right now, as they have announced that K9 Bud has passed away.
Bud began his service with the Sheboygan Police Department in March of 2009 when he was assigned with his partner Officer Trisha Saeger. Bud retired on December 10, 2018 after 10 years of dedicated service to the department and community.
In a news release, the Department praised the former K9 Officer, saying “Bud was an amazing partner and made a lasting impression on the department and the Sheboygan Community. We are grateful for his service and ask that you keep Officer Saeger in your prayers the next few days.”
