After producing impressive statistics during the 2019 N-F-L season, Packers running back Aaron Jones is said to be talking with the team about a new contract.
The talks apparently started during the N-F-L Combine earlier this off-season. Jones is still just 25 years old and he led the league with 19 touchdowns last season.
He could benefit from the record-setting four-year, $64 million deal Christian McCaffrey just signed with the Carolina Panthers.
Green Bay doesn’t have an in-house replacement for Jones’ production – another reason he should be in-line for a big payday.
He is set to become a free agent after the 2020 season.
