The owner and lead groomer of Lucky Paws Day Care and retail store in Two Rivers spoke with SeehaferNews.com earlier this week about the effects of COVID-19 on her business.
Stephanie Mueller confirmed for us that she and her staff are not able to groom animals right now, due to Governor Evers’ Safer at Home Act, but her retail store just off the 17th Street bridge is open for curbside & pickup delivery only.
Mueller tells us sales are about one-third of what they normally are, and that a lot of her customers are calling to express frustration with the no-grooming order. She explained that they’ve had over 200-appointment cancellations since the quarantine was put into effect.
Mueller said in the interim, she’s doing live videos to help pet owners groom their dogs at home. More on their Facebook page Lucky Paws Pet Boutique.
Once the order is lifted, she anticipates the six employees, including 3-groomers, will be very busy and added all of them are “looking to get back to work.”
