Members of the College Football Playoff Management Committee have offered a clear message – there will be no college football until students are allowed on campus.
The comment was made by Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby during a conference call which included Vice President Mike Pence.
Bowlsby said because the players are students, if college isn’t in session there will be no games.
President Donald Trump has been in favor of sports restarting soon.
The White House had asked for the conference call which was held Wednesday, 33 days after the N-C-A-A Basketball tournament was called off.
One reason for the call was to differentiate college sports from the pros.
