Since the start of the Safer at Home order, the Aging and Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore in Manitowoc has been offering bagged lunches for seniors in the community.
Now after several weeks, they are changing it up just a little bit, and offering wraps and salads as the main course, along with the sandwich option. The lunches also include fresh fruit, chips, veggies or crackers, dessert, and beverage.
Anyone aged 60 or older can pick up a pre-ordered lunch from their office at 1701 Michigan Avenue between 11:00-Noon Mondays through Fridays. Orders do have to be placed two business days in advance, and a donation of $3 is suggested.
