There were a number of local contested races on the ballots last week, and the unofficial results are in.
In the Manitowoc City Council races, there will be new faces representing District 5 and 8.
Challenger Bill Schlei edged out incumbent Mike Williams 443-431 in District 8, while John Brunner was selected to replace Lee Kummer in District 5, who did not seek re-election. Brunner Defeated Amber Daugs 350-259.
Meanwhile, Courtney Pelot Hansen defeated Michael Cuski 733-317 in District 10.
The three winners of the race to be on the Two Rivers City Council were Bonnie Shimulunas, Darla LeClair, and Adam Wachowski.
Also on the ballot were races for Manitowoc County Board seats. Kenneth Sitkiewitz will be representing District 9 after defeating Dave Gauger 259-165, Kevin Benke beat Maura Yost 529-290, Nicholas Muench won over Ralph Kozlowski in District 18 616-213, and in District 21, Rick Gerroll came out on top over Michael Sickinger, 369-304.
Election Results are unofficial until after County Board of Canvass Meets Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
