The Easter Bunny will be parading around the front yard of the Lakeshore Humane Society this afternoon (Saturday, April 11) from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to raise money for shelter pets. The local animal shelter encourages residents to get members of their household together to see the Easter Bunny hopping around for donations and there may even be some adoptable dogs to wave to. Organizers of the event ask that you do not beep your horn at the dogs, just give them a friendly hand wave.
A reminder that the speed limit is 35 miles-per-hour in front of the shelter and you are asked not to get out of your vehicle or stop in front of the shelter, but feel free to drive by as much as you want.
Look for the big blue donation barrels near the shelter and in the Cawley Company Parking lot for you to safely throw monetary donations into from your vehicle, without opening your door.
