
Attempted Robbery Suspect
Kewaunee County authorities are looking for a suspect that attempted to rob the L&L One Stop in the Town of Carlton. Sheriff Matt Joski says they responded to the call around 8:30 last night. The caller stated that a male came into the convenience store demanding money which she refused to provide. The suspect is described as being tall with a thin build, wearing a Wisconsin Badger sweatshirt, sunglasses and a dark-colored mask. No one was injured.
The incident remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s Office at (920)-388-7108.
Meanwhile, Deputies responded to a complaint of several motor vehicle thefts early this morning in the Village of Luxemburg. The caller stated that the suspect had broken a window in her vehicle and left the scene only to be apprehended a short time later admitting to entering multiple vehicles in Luxemburg and Kewaunee. Numerous stolen items were recovered.
No one was reported hurt in any of those crimes which remain under investigation with charges to be referred to the Kewaunee County District Attorney.
