Investigators say one of the two men accused in the double-murder at the U-W Arboretum was dating the daughter of the victims.
The bodies of Doctor Beth Potter and Robin Carre were discovered March 31st.
Khari Sanford and Ali’jah Larrue are charged with first-degree intentional homicide.
Police believe Sanford shot the victims the night before, based on information from a woman living nearby who heard gunshots at about 11:15 p-m.
G-P-S data from Larrue’s cellphone places him near the Arboretum the night of the shooting.
The daughter hasn’t been charged and wasn’t with the suspects that night.
