Even though there was a fair amount of confusion surrounding the Spring Primary Election yesterday, a fair number of voters either cast their ballot in person, or absentee.
Primary Elections tend to draw fewer numbers than the General Elections in November, but according to Jessica Backus, the Manitowoc County Clerk, 41.8% of all eligible voters have cast a ballot.
Backus is thanking “the clerks for all the time they have dedicated to this election. Along with the poll workers and all others that assisted in making [the election] successful..”
The results will not be released until Monday.
