The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference will have a new commissioner for the first time in 24 years effective July 1st.
Danielle Harris will take over the position held by longtime Commissioner Gary Karner.
Harris has served as the associate commissioner of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the last seven years.
She oversaw basketball, soccer, softball, track and volleyball for the G-L-I-A-C.
The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is a member of that conference.
