The Wisconsin men’s hockey team has picked up a fourth goaltender through the transfer portal.
After playing three seasons as mostly a backup at Michigan Tech, Robbie Beydoun will be a graduate transfer for the Badgers next season.
Already on the roster are Daniel Lebedeff and freshmen Cameron Rowe and Ben Garrity.
Coach Tony Granato’s teams have struggled with inconsistent work between the pipes over the last five years.
When Beydoun put his name in the transfer portal, about 15 teams reached out.
That’s about one in every four Division One hockey programs.
