A charge of Recklessly endangering Safety against a 13-year-old Sheboygan boy is being referred to the District Attorney’s Office after numerous shots were fired early this morning on the city’s northside.
Police responded to the call near North 11th Street and Logan Avenue around 12:45 a.m. upon arrival they discovered evidence that three shots had been fired by an individual in front of a residence which was occupied at the time. Officers identified the suspect and took him into custody at his home. The investigation led to the recovery of evidence including the firearm used in the shooting.
No one was injured and a motive for the crime is unknown at this time.
The suspect has been placed in secure custody at the Sheboygan County Juvenile Center and the investigation is on-going by The Sheboygan Police Department.
