The Aging & Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore has announced a new food program for Senior Citizens during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting on Monday, April 13, 2020, any senior age 60 or older can pick up a pre-ordered bag lunch from our parking lot at 1701 Michigan Avenue in Manitowoc. These lunches will be available Monday through Friday and the pick-up time is between 11 am and Noon. The suggested donation for the bag lunch will be $3.00.
Bag lunches can be ordered by calling the ADRC of the Lakeshore at 920-683-4180. You will need to call us 2 business days in advance to order. If you would like to order a bag lunch for Monday, April 13th and/or Tuesday, April 14th, please place that order on or before Thursday, April 9th, as the ADRC office is closed on Friday, April 10th for Spring Holiday.
Bag lunches will consist of a sandwich, fresh fruit, chips or crackers, dessert and beverage.
Pick up of these meals will be done with food safety protocols and social distancing to protect those who pick up. ADRC Staff Members will be in the parking lot to direct the pick-up for participants.
