The Milwaukee Bucks say they are preparing as if the N-B-A season will resume.
The Bucks rolled to a 53-and-12 record – best in the league – before play was suspended last month.
Bucks general manager Jon Horst says he thinks his team will have a chance to win its first N-B-A championship in 49 years.
Coach Mike Budenholzer has been spending a big part of his time off studying the Orlando Magic and Brooklyn Nets. Those are Milwaukee’s most-likely first-round opponents in the playoffs.
His player instructions have them focusing more on conditioning than working on basketball skills.
When everything ground to a halt in pro basketball, it looked like Budenholzer’s team had all the elements in place to make a serious run for the title it narrowly missed last season.
