The Waldo Boulevard construction Project is continuing to make progress.
Brian Haen is a Project Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Overseeing the second phase of the Waldo Boulevard Reconstruction Project, and he tells SeehaferNews.com, “As of right now, we’re staying on schedule and working along as we normally would.”
As for what they are doing right now, Haen says they are “concentrating on replacing water mains and replacing sanitary sewers.
Also, they are putting a new deck on the bridge over the railroad tracks…and we’re putting a new box culvert in near Fleetwood Drive.”
Haen says that nice weather has allowed them to stay on schedule, citing a sort winter allowing them to start a bit early.
He also says the Urban environment has allowed for rain to now be a major factor in any slowdowns.
Crews have been working 10-hour days in hope of finishing up work this fall.
The current end date is aimed for early October, with a total cost for this second phase of the project estimated at around $13 million.
