The Wisconsin Supreme Court has told Dane County Clerk Scott McDonnell to quit telling people how to get around voter I-D requirements.
The court ordered McDonnell to remove the advice from his Facebook page Tuesday.
Voters seeking absentee ballots online are currently required to upload photo identification.
The clerk advised applicants who can’t upload photos to circumvent the requirement by declaring they are indefinitely confirmed, exempting them from the I-D mandate.
