The price at the gas pump is continuing to decline, as people continue to stay home amid Governor Ever’s Safer at Home Order.
In Manitowoc County, the average price fell 40 cents down to $1.55, while Sheboygan County’s price only fell 20 cents, down to $1.62. These were the biggest and smallest declines in the area respectively.
Calumet County saw a decline of 25 cents per gallon, now averaging $1.36, while Brown and Door County’s price per gallon each fell 33 gallons to $1.38 and $1.59 respectively.
Kewaunee County’s average price is now at $1.46, a 34-cent drop.
The state average is down 24 cents to $1.54, while the national average is below $2 for the first time in four years.
The county where gas is the most expensive is in Douglas County, located in the North East corner of the state where they are paying $1.91, while the lowest average price is in LaCrosse County, at a cost of $1.35,
