Expect the Green Bay Packers to look for some speed at wide receiver next month at the 2020 N-F-L Draft.
They have size in players like six-foot-five Allen Lazard, but none of the guys on the roster right now are very quick – with exception of Marquez Valdes-Scantling and his 4.37 clocking in the 40-yard dash.
There’s no guarantee he will even make the team next season and he’s the only one with a sub 4.4 time.
General manager Brian Gutekunst has made it apparent he prefers size over speed, but he’s going to need somebody to clear out the congestion by offering a long-distance threat for the defense.
