Update: All of the $50 gift cards have been claimed. Koeppel has donated more money to provide additional $25 gift cards while supplies last.
In these times of uncertainty and fear, we sometimes need to take a step back and see some of the good that is happening around us.
One act of good is taking place at Workingman’s Friend in Manitowoc.
We spoke to Chad Koeppel from Koeppel Concrete, who told SeehaferNews.com that he is “Giving $25 gift cards at Workingman’s Friend to all the healthcare workers in Manitowoc while supplies last. Workingman’s Friend is also giving 19% off for workers at the same time.”
Koeppel also said he decided to do something because “Everybody’s been stepping up to the plate in the community and helping in any way they can. I had been brainstorming myself and trying to figure out the best way I can help out.”
That’s when he approached Workingman’s Friend to get this gift put together.
Koeppel told us that he has friends in the medical community and wanted to help those who are selflessly helping us.
Koeppel is happy to see everyone in the community banding together to help each other during this pandemic and is very thankful to those who are helping.
Koeppel said that dealing with COVID-19 has been a “learning experience” for him as a business owner.
The construction season hasn’t quite started yet, but “with the weather cooperating, that is coming up pretty quick.”
