Lawsuits filed by two more groups over the April primary election bring the total number of legal challenges to four. The presidential primary could be settled in court rather than at the polls. The suits would either postpone next month’s presidential primary or charge the law on absentee voting. The group Souls to the Polls wants the vote delayed and a second group is asking the court to suspend the requirement that a witness sign-off on absentee ballots. Governor Tony Evers and Wisconsin’s top lawmakers say it is too late to change the April 7th Election Day.
