Another Manitowoc Lincoln High School senior has announced his future athletic plans.
Will Maples said on Twitter and Instagram that he’ll be attending UW-LaCrosse and play football for the Eagles.
Maples was a kicker and defensive back for the Shipbuilders last Fall and even worked briefly at quarterback.
Lincoln varsity football coach Greg Enz tells SeehaferNews.com that Will is “one of the best athletes…not only in the senior class…but the whole school.”
Enz continued, ”I think he’s going to get opportunities at LaCrosse beyond kicking…he’s too good of an athlete to be limited to special teams.”
Maples has also been a starting 3rd baseman for the Lincoln baseball team.
