U-S Marshals have arrested a suspect in Tennessee in connection with a Janesville homicide last January.
24-year-old Corvasie Weaver of Joliet, Illinois was taken into custody Monday. He was wanted for shooting 40-year-old James C. Chestnut the Third to death.
Investigators say the two men knew each other because Chestnut was dating one of Weaver’s relatives who lived at the Janesville home where the shooting happened.
The two men had been at a house party January 5th when they got into an argument that ended with the fatal shooting.
