Gas prices throughout the country are, on average 50 cents per gallon less than they were at this time last year.
In Manitowoc County, the average price fell 27 cents to $1.85, while Sheboygan County motorists saw a 23 decline at the pump, with an average of $1.82 per gallon.
Calumet County’s price fell a whopping 38 cents to $1.61, which puts them at the 4th cheapest county in the state.
The price in Brown County also fell drastically, down 32 cents to $1.71, while Kewaunee County sits at $1.80.
Door County saw the smallest decline in eastern Wisconsin, only dropping 17 cents down to $1.92.
The average price in the state of Wisconsin is $1.78, which is down 24 cents, and only four counties average a price above $2.
Nationally, the average price per gallon is $2.11, a 13 cent drop from last week.
