Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell is remaining upbeat about the eventual return of Major League Baseball this summer.
He won’t project a date for the return because he says there’s just too much which isn’t known. In a media conference call, Counsell said the season won’t start anytime soon, but he’s optimistic it will eventually get its start.
He said players are working in small groups in Phoenix and Miller Park isn’t closed to workouts.
What about a resumption of spring training? Counsell says it won’t do any good to start planning for spring training right now.
