The Green Bay Packers have canceled their 15th annual Tailgate Tour to help prevent the community spread of COVID-19.
The tour included stops in La Crosse, Madison and Milwaukee between May 15th and May 17th. Packer officials say they are disappointed they had to make the difficult decision.
They have promised that the nonprofit organizations who were going to benefit from the tour – Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics Wisconsin and Stars and Stripes Honor Flight – will be getting donations of $25,000 each from the Packers.
