Even though most of Major League Baseball is at a standstill, the Brewers have made some roster moves.
Milwaukee has optioned four players to Triple-A San Antonio – Ryon Healy, Mark Mathias, Ronny Rodriguez and David Freitas. None of the four had shown much with the bat during spring training.
A .566 O-P-S by Freitas was the best of the four and that’s not very strong.
M-L-B and the players’ association have reached an agreement that everybody on the 40-man roster, plus players invited to spring training, are earning an $1,100 stipend for now.
