It would have been Selection Sunday. Instead, Wisconsin basketball coach Greg Gard was pheasant hunting with his daughter Mackenzie Sunday.
Gard’s brother and nephew joined them at a hunt club near Evansville, Wisconsin.
Gard says he last met with his team last week after the Big Ten Tournament was canceled.
He says we don’t know how things are going to unfold over the next four-to-six-to-eight weeks, but right now there are no team activities set before April 6th – and it’s highly possible they will be canceled as well.
