The N-B-A Board of Governors is said to be hopeful the season will resume “before July.”
Adrian Wojnarowski is the N-B-A Insider for E-S-P-N, and he reports the board met talked to former U-S Surgeon General Vivek Murthy Tuesday.
Originally, the N-B-A thought players would be back on the court by June, but as the pandemic has worsened the potential return date has been pushed back.
League officials say the main priority is the health of players, fans and team staff members – but four more N-B-A players tested positive for coronavirus Tuesday, including superstar Kevin Durant.
