With the passage of another day, another free agent has left the Green Bay Packers.
Inside linebacker B-J Goodson has reportedly signed a contract with the Cleveland Browns, following fellow linebackers Blake Martinez and Kyler Fackrell.
Goodson and the Packers say they tried to work something out so he could stay.
The 26-year-old was acquired by Green Bay in a trade from the Giants last September. He started on special teams, but eventually won a spot in the 3-4 defense, playing a little over 24 percent of the Packers’ defensive snaps.
