Request for Absentee Ballots Hit Record High

Absentee ballot requests for Wisconsin’s April 7 presidential primary have hit record territory, with local clerks processing more requests than at any point in state history for a spring election. Total processed absentee requests topped 315,000, shattering the previous record for a spring election of 249,000 in 2016.
