As of today, the spring election in Wisconsin is still scheduled for April 7th. Governor Tony Evers is the only official that can delay Wisconsin voting.
Manitowoc City Hall is open for early voting but, Citizens are encouraged to vote absentee.
Manitowoc City Clerk Deborah Neuser told SeehaferNews.com “The easiest way to get an absentee ballot is at…myvote.wi.gov. That immediately comes back as an email, and we process that within 24 hours.”
She said people that don’t have access to the internet can call her office at 920-686-6950, and they will mail it to you.
Should you decide to vote early at City Hall, Neuser said that option is also available. She said voters should “Just show up with their photo ID, the same as they would if they were going to their polling place.”
Keep in mind, Tax payments due March 31st will also be extended to encourage people to avoid having to come to City Hall. Dog and cat licenses needing renewal will have no late fees.
Both are now due by May 31st.
