On Tuesday, March 17th the Green Bay Police Department was called to the 1400 Block of Traeger Street for a welfare check of a homeowner. Officers that responded found that entry had been made to the home by someone. After entering the home to check the welfare of the homeowner, officers found him deceased.
Investigators and the Department’s Forensic Unit were notified and were on the scene overnight. The Green Bay Police Department does not believe that this is a random act but someone who was familiar with the homeowner. Authorities do not have anyone in custody at this time and they do not believe that the public is in any danger. The death is being investigated as a homicide.
