Former Green Bay Packer Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila was tasered and arrested in a Brown County courtroom Tuesday, then briefly taken to jail.
He had refused to comply with a judge’s order during a divorce proceeding and wasn’t cooperating with deputies when the Taser was deployed.
The trouble started when Gbaja-Biamila refused to sign a document in his divorce – even though he had agreed to sign it previously.
The former N-F-L star has unsuccessfully tried to convince several court officials in the past that his religious beliefs supersede civil law.
