The residents of a home in Sheboygan have to find a new place to live following a fire yesterday morning.
The Sheboygan Fire Department responded to the fire in the 3300 block of North 13th Street at around 4:30 AM, and upon arrival saw the flames coming from the porch. The fire was also inside the home, which was attacked after the exterior fire was taken care of.
Everyone was able to escape the home, thanks to properly functioning smoke detectors, and the Red Cross is helping the residents with lodging.
The fire caused an estimated $45,000 in damage.
At last word, the cause of the fire is still not known, but the investigation remains ongoing.
