N-F-L players have given their approval to a new labor agreement running through the 2030 season.
The deal includes a 17-game regular season, higher salaries, bigger rosters and larger pension payouts for current and former players. It is possible the 17-game regular season won’t start until 2021.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was one of several hundred players opposing the deal. The final vote was 1019 for the agreement and 959 against.
The results of the vote were announced by the league Sunday.
