A Manitowoc man was arrested on Friday after he was caught driving under the influence of alcohol for the 4th time.
An officer saw the man driving west on Calumet Avenue near South 41st Street just after 9:00 p.m. without his headlights on. When the officer pulled the man over, he noted that he had bloodshot, glossy eyes, and slurred speech.
A Field Sobriety test was administered, and the officer determined he was under the influence, so the man was taken to the Manitowoc County Jail.
A blood draw was performed, with the results still pending.
