Vice President Mike Pence is scheduled to campaign for a Republican candidate for Congress next week in Rothschild.
Candidate Tom Tiffany announced Wednesday that Pence will attend a get-out-the-vote event.
Pence is returning to the state after canceling an appearance in western Wisconsin last week. He had to travel to Washington state as part of the White House response to the coronavirus outbreak.
Tiffany is running against Democrat Tricia Zunker in a special election Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District in northern and western parts of the state.
