It didn’t take long for the Lakeshore to respond in kind for one of their own in need.
Scott Paulow, the man affectionately known to many as “Scotty”, had his three-wheel bike stolen last night while at Lenny’s II in Two Rivers. Once word got out on social media about this crime, many rallied to raise the money needed to get him a new bike.
It didn’t take long, as this afternoon a brand new red three-wheel bike was donated to Scotty so he can get back to doing what he loves to do, work and be around people. The 61-year-old lifelong Two Rivers resident was born with cerebral palsy and needs his bike to get around town and to his several part-time jobs including the Lester Public Library.
WOMT SportsTalk will be raising funds to get Scotty some additional accessories and equipment for his new bike. The public is invited to attend the live broadcast this coming Monday night from 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the Big Apple Pub and Grill in Rockwood. Donations collected that evening will be matched up to $100. Anything above and beyond will be donated to Scotty’s charity of choice.
Scotty has worked high school sports games with Seehafer Broadcasting for over 40 years
