A 30-year-old man is charged with physical abuse to a child causing great bodily harm after a weekend incident in Janesville.
Steven M. Horan was caring for his girlfriend’s 15-month-old child, but when she returned home that child was seriously injured. Doctors say the injuries weren’t accidental.
The child was taken to Mercy Hospital with life-threatening injuries, then transferred to a hospital in Rockford, Illinois, for more treatment.
The names of the mother and victim haven’t been released.
