
There are just two local schools still alive in the WIAA post-season Basketball Tournaments.
The Mishicot Girls have the 3 seed in the Division-4 bracket and the Indians meet 2nd seeded Melrose Mindoro Thursday night at approximately 8:15 in the State semifinals at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon.
The opener at 6:35 matches top-seeded Aquinas & ‘4-seed Crandon. Mishicot Athletic Director Terri Risch says a Pre-Sale of State Tournament tickets will take place Tuesday in the front lobby of Mishicot High School from 11-to-1 and again from 3-to-6pm. Student and adult tickets are $10.00 children under 2-years old are admitted free if they sit on a parent’s lap.
Parking is available in the Lambeau Field & Blue lots at a daily fee of $6.00. Also, spectators with disabilities can be dropped off in front of the Resch Entrance on Armed Forces Drive.
There is a Pep Rally/Send-Off Thursday afternoon at 1:00 o’clock in the varsity gym. Doors will open at 12:45 and spectators should enter through the varsity lobby doors.
Those not able to attend Thursday night’s game will be able to hear the Play-by-Play on 1240 am WOMT and womtradio.com.
Meanwhile, the Roncalli Boys Basketball team will battle Kohler Thursday night at Sheboygan South in the WIAA Division-4 Sectional semifinals.
Tipoff is at 7:00 and an advance sale of game tickets will occur Tuesday (tomorrow) and Wednesday from 7:30 to 3:30 in the main office at Roncalli High School.
All tickets are $6.00.
