A suspect has been taken into custody following an armed robbery at a Shell Gas Station in the Village of Howard.
According to Lieutenant Jason Katers with the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred at around 9:40 last night at the Shell on Lineville Road.
The clerk told the responding Deputies that the suspect entered the store armed with a knife and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was identified and taken into custody a short time later flowing a short foot chase.
The individual, whose name has not been released, was taken to the Brown County Jail on charges of Armed Robbery and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer.
The Hobart/Lawrence Police Department and Wisconsin State Patrol assisted in the case.
