The body of a man who had been missing from Green Bay since early February has been found.
24-year-old Jeffrey Maldonado’s body was found early yesterday morning in the East River, thanks to the collaborative efforts Law Enforcement Officers and dive team members using SONAR.
Maldonado was last seen alive on February 8th at around 2:30 AM following a performance at the 9-20 Club in Green Bay. He was supposed to stay at his aunt’s house that evening, but never made it.
A member of the dive team said they received a report of a man in the water on that night, but it was not safe for their team to dive until the ice melted, which a warm, weekend allowed to happen.
An autopsy is scheduled to be performed in Madison.
